A research and urban activism project focused on the regeneration of the Marinella di Selinunte coastline. Faced with neglect, GRRIZ and other activists initiated a process of tactical urbanism: a bottom-up, rapid, and low-cost action to demonstrate the potential for change. Through the design and self-build of mobile installations and community workshops, the project acts as a catalyst to imagine and test new collective uses. It does not impose a vision, but offers tools (seating, shading) so the community can physically and symbolically reclaim their public space.
