GROSSE FATIGUE

A monumental entrance portal for the Art Zone of the Roskilde Festival. Inspired by the walls of medieval Italian cities and conceived as a "contemporary Gothic cathedral." Characterized by a "wild mode of expression" and black and gold colors, the work functions as a visual marker for the passage between the art area and the rest of the festival. The gate acts as a visual magnet, drawing in festival-goers with its powerful and overwhelming design. This example of festival architecture creates a holistic experience: it is not just a passage, but an immersion that prepares the visitor for the change in atmosphere.
