LISIO

A temporary timber architecture installation built within the medieval castle garden. Developed in collaboration with the Camposaz self-build workshop, the work is a device for rest and observation, inviting contemplation of the landscape. Made entirely of local chestnut wood, the intervention establishes a sensitive dialogue between the historic ruins and a contemporary design. Not a restoration, but an interpretation of landscape architecture, it creates a modern "hortus conclusus" that balances historical memory (cultural heritage) with the immediate sensory experience of the landscape.
