MUSEO DELLA CANAPA
ECOMUSEUM OF HEMP EXPANSION. An adaptive reuse project involving the functional recovery of a listed historic building. The intervention, which won two grants, transforms the building into a new element of the "Ecomuseum of Hemp." The 'diffuse museum' concept is key: the institution is not contained in one building but is articulated throughout the territory. The goal is to enhance the local cultural heritage and create new exhibition and workshop spaces dedicated to the culture of hemp, a fundamental tradition for the area's historical memory and economic identity. The project merges conservative restoration with contemporary museum design.
