WOODHENGE A functional sculpture and placemaking project located in Sunset Park. The work is a powerful example of upcycling and the circular economy: it valorizes 16 large laminated wood columns with a characteristic lenticular shape, recovered from the demolition of small kiosks near Pavilion Zero (designed by Michele De Lucchi) at Expo 2015. A project made possible by public-private collaboration. Arranged like a modern 'henge', this timber structure creates a monumental yet permeable public space, transforming global event waste into a permanent local legacy for the Rho community.
